Worth the Wait

“It’s March. I open the window and Spring floats in, kisses me on the nose. I have waited so long- and now the sun is washing the world in yellow, and now the seeds sprout green in the dirt, and now the trees are budding and ready to bloom- and it was all so worth it.”  ~Schuyler Peck, Worth the Wait

March and other stuff

Seems like January and February were never going to end. It wasn’t cold or awful, the sun just set so early that the days seemed to end so quick and we were stuck inside, if the sun even shined at all those months.  We’ve kept ourselves busy with our homeschool group, vacation, valentine tea party with cousins, lots of birthdays, we donated blood for the first time and showed up for people we care about, play rehearsals, and we get outside when we can sneak in a few hours. March seems to be flying by. The sun sets a little later, some of us are still getting used to losing an hour from this weekend time change. Lacrosse starts this month and sailing next and official spring the 20th!  I woke up this morning to rain tapping on the sunroof, little bare feet came and tucked themselves in next to mine after staying up til midnight waiting for me to get home. ❤️  There is a warning for a snow storm later on, or just rain. We’ve only gotten one snow storm this year so it wouldn’t be awful. W
